THE SET-UP
IMPORTANT NOTES
The password to the ladder is 4965.
The ladder can only be placed on the side
without the awning (driver’s side).
You can access the tent by using the ladder or climbing via the rear tyre. We ask to be careful not to step on the roof of the car to avoid damaging the paint or plastics.
Double check ladder is securely in blackets before using to enter or exit the tent.
Please store shoes in shoe bags and not on the roof of the vehicle.
Make sure the poles go through both holes before bending them up and hooking them into the fly of the tent.
The tent is easiest to set up before opening the side awning.
On windy days, it is advisable to roll up the tent fly and use the toggles to secure it, reducing noise.
Appliances can be charged from inside the tent via the USB port. You can use the AC 100v switch on the battery to send power to the tent.

TENT AMMENITIES
PREPARE FOR THE CONDITIONS
In hot conditions when the winds are stagnant, find a spot that has on-shore winds to ensure a nice breeze to keep you cool at night.
In winter, and in windy conditions, pick the side of the island with off-shore winds to ensure the best conditions to camp.
In windy conditions, consider your car’s placement—look for sheltered areas and try to position the hard side of the tent against the wind.
To minimize noise in strong winds, you may choose not to use the poles and keep the fly secured to the tent.

THE TEAR DOWN

THE LADDER
Close the ladder starting from the top to avoid jamming your fingers.
Strap the ladder into the bracket tightly to avoid vibrations when opening and closing the rear door.
THE TENT
After pulling down the strap to close the tent, tuck in the tent material on both sides before locking the clamps.
Make sure to tuck the strap into the tent and avoid closing it in the rear door of the vehicle. This helps prevent water from entering the car in case of rain.

THE SET-UP
IMPORTANT NOTES
When opening the last leg, be careful not to hit the car when bringing it down.
Attach the hook on the ratchet side to strap on the awning and pull the red and black rope to tension awning
Be sure to use all ropes to secure the awning. If pegs don’t work, use sandbag weights or large rocks.
It is recommended to pack away the awning before going to bed, as rain or strong winds could cause damage.
The awning is made of aluminum and is therefore fragile. In strong winds, campers should use their judgment to decide whether to open it or not.

THE TEAR DOWN
Lift the legs first before closing the awning to prevent them from being dragged and damaged.
If the wind is strong, have someone hold down the awning beams when untying the rope to prevent the awning from flying up and breaking.
The larger the awning, the greater the risk of wind damage. Be mindful of weather conditions and secure it properly before going to bed.

WINTER BEDDING
COZY WINTER NIGHTS

During the winter, you'll find either two single extra-thick duck feather duvets or one luxurious double stored in the rooftop tent, ready to keep you warm on chilly nights.
Since Evertrail uses sleek, slimline tents designed for top-tier noise reduction and stability, we’ve come up with a solution to ensure these cozy blankets fit snugly. By using vacuum-seal bags, we compress the duvets flat, making it effortless to close the tent while still keeping comfort a top priority.
IMPORTANT NOTES
Winter bedding is provided only during the colder months.
The small tab used to seal the bag can come off easily; please try to reattach it after use.
It is recommended to charge the vacuum after each use.
Please return all attachments for the handheld vacuum to the bag after each use.
Before closing the tent, place the bedding in the center.

WATER TANK
FOR PRACTICALITY
PACKING AWAY

Make sure the switch is off before pressing the "on" button on the battery. If the hose is not connected, water will shoot out of the nozzle.
You can also access water from the faucet at the bottom of the tank.
Switch off the pump before removing the hose, and also turn off the switch at the battery.
The water tank and tent share the same power button. To avoid wasting water, always switch off the power at the tank switch when not in use.
Pull the sleeve back first to remove the hose from the tank.
The easiest way to refill the water tank is to leave it in place and use a long hose from a campsite.
If you remove the tank, follow the steps in the video and ensure that the water tank is secure and locked before driving.

CONTROLS
TOP TIPS
Press the button which you should like to activate until the little LED light shines green.
If the battery is running low, and you do not need the fridge for that day, consider turning the fridge off to conserve battery.
Turn the Switch to;
1 for solar charge
2 for charging from the vehicle
0 for no charge
This switch can be located behind the driver's rear seat.
The car battery will not drain if left on setting 2 while the engine is off.

THE FRIDGE
30L DRAWER STYLE
IMPORTANT NOTES
Press the DC 12v button on the battery to power the fridge.
Check the knob inside the fridge is not in the off position. We usually keep it at a balanced 3.
Like any fridge, this one takes time to chill, especially in summer. Changinf the knob to a higher setting will not quicken the time it takes to chill, but will consume more power.

CHARGING
IMPORTANT NOTES
During the summer the inside of the car will get hot during the day with the fridge on and solar panels charging the battery. To avoid the battery overheating, leave the windows open a jar to promote ventilation and keep the inside temperature down.
